Artist Inspirations and Intentions:
The soft fragile beauty of the feeble light from translucent paper shoji screens that
suffuses old Japanese rooms with serenity and mystery in the pale glow and dim shadows.
Ever-changing skies, clouds and mists, color everywhere.
My paintings are meant to be quiet and allusive, open to feelings and interpretations,
veils of elusive colors and forms inviting serenity.
"Do not reject encounters with calm and emptiness. Calm brings the various movements
to completion, and emptiness embraces all possible worlds."
